Riding our bikes, we travel through space: at the Scolacium Archeological Park you can travel through time instead. You will walk here through the richest in history olive tree grove of the Ionian Coast. In few hectars you will find the Normans Church, the Old Roman City, with the typical structure of the Roman forum, the Theatre and the only example in Calabria of Amphitheatre (similar to a tiny colosseum), both built up thanks to the slope in the land (not hard to be found in this area).
Scolacium Archeological Park was born after finding some ruins within a old farm. That’s why you can enjoy here the shadow of thousand-years-old olive trees and, finally, you can visit (toghether with the Archeological Museum) the musem of the Industrial-Agricultural Archeology.
